Overview
Three summits. One spectacular valley. Approximately 16.5 miles of proper Shropshire hillwalking.
Led by experienced walk leader Richard Jones, this challenging circular walk begins in Church Stretton with a tough climb through the golf course and onto the Long Mynd. We’ll reach Pole Bank, descend through beautiful Ashes Hollow, then tackle Ragleth Hill before taking on our final and toughest summit: Caer Caradoc.
With approximately 1,000 metres of ascent and an expected walking time of 8–10 hours, this is a serious full-day challenge for experienced walkers with good hill fitness.
It isn’t a race. We’ll walk together, support one another and enjoy the incredible Shropshire scenery—but you’ll need to arrive prepared for steep climbs, tired legs and a brilliant sense of achievement at the finish.
The final route, meeting point and precise statistics will be confirmed after Richard has completed his full route recce.
